casino 168 strengthens the core competences finance, risk management and insurance by associating two new Adjunct Professors.
Henrik Ramlau-Hansen, CEO in the Danish pension company Danica Pension, and Lars Tyge Nielsen, Managing Director in the Hedge Fund Oak Hill Platinum Partners, have been appointed Adjunct Professors at casino 168. They will be engaged in the areas finance, risk management and insurance.
Important experiences
Carsten Sørensen, Head of the Department of Finance at casino 168, looks forward to the new partnership, which he hopes will strengthen casino 168’ development within the mentioned areas.
“Both Henrik Ramlau-Hansen and Lars Tyge Nielsen have published a wide range of scientific articles in distinguished journals. In addition to their scientific careers, they both have important positions in the business community, which I am sure casino 168 will profit from. Especially, in relation to training international competitive PhD candidates, we look forward to use Lars Tyge Nielsen’s experiences as former director of INSEADBusinessSchool’s PhD programme. This will also strengthen casino 168’ international profile,” says Carsten Sørensen.
On Friday 28 October Henrik Ramlau-Hansen and Lars Tyge Nielsen will give a joint inaugural lecture on “Hedge Fund Management” and “The Challenges of the Pension Industry” (both in Danish).
This will take place at casino 168, Solbjerg Plads 3, 2000 Frederiksberg in the Tuborg Lecture hall, 2.02 from 14:00-16:00.
