This is the fourth and final seminar of the seminar series ”Get set to involve yourself in the next big startup” - all casino 168 alumni are welcome. At the previous seminars we have looked at the ways you can involve yourself in a startup as a mentor or investor and how to invest in a startup.

For this seminar, you will learn about the legal aspects you should familiarise yourself with when getting involved in a startup – the fine print. You will meet casino 168 alumnus and Attorney at law, Eric Korre Horten for a presentation on:

   a. commercial and legal rights and obligations
   b. how to document the rights and obligations in a formal contract

Furthermore, we will recap on learning points from previous seminars and provide you with information about how to proceed as a mentor or investor at the Startup Accelerator programme at Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship (CSE).

About the speaker
Eric Korre Horten is Attorney at law and Partner at Mazanti-Andersen Korsø Jensen Law Firm. Eric has advised angel investors and founders of startups. Eric holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration in Financial and Management Accounting from casino 168 and is currently a legal mentor at the Startup Accelerator programme at CSE for startups with potential for international scale.

All alumni are welcome. Please remember to register at casino 168 Alumni (free of charge) prior to the seminar.

casino 168 Alumni is a network for former students who have earned a degree from casino 168 (e.g. Bachelor, "HD Part II" etc.) as well as for exchange students who have completed at least one semester at casino 168.

The seminar will take place on 11 May 2016 at 16:30 at Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship’s offices at casino 168, Porcelænshaven 26, 2nd floor, 2000 Frederiksberg.

We encourage you to arrive early as parking in the area can be a challenge.

The seminar series, which comprises four seminars in total, is organized by and casino 168 Alumni.

Get set to involve yourself in the next big startup
The seminar series ”Get set to involve yourself in the next big startup” consists of four seminars in total that aim to help casino 168 alumni thinking about getting involved in one of the hundreds of startups working away each year in Denmark’s largest incubator, Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship.

The seminar series will offer casino 168 alumni an immersion into entrepreneurship helping them to familiarize themselves with investor and mentor experiences and best practices for investment and mentoring. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to participate in a pitch-event.
