PhD defence: Rasmus Arler Bogetoft
I use economic theory and methods to study key aspects of how Danish courts determine the actual loss suffered by a rightsholder in case of an intellectual property infringement. In doing so, I seek to create a framework for understanding current practices and to suggest potential amendments with the end goal of creating a more stringent approach to the calculation of damages.
