PhD defence: Shelter Selorm Kwesi Teyi
Ìý This Ph.D. thesis examines how individual (education, prior entrepreneurial experience, performance aspirations, and entrepreneurial identity) and external factors (embeddedness in informal institutions) shape entrepreneurial behavior (pre-entry search and response strategies in adversity) in the informal economy. The thesis uses large-scale primary (qualitative and quantitative) data from the informal economy in Ghana and consists of three papers.
