Manuel Llorca
Presentation

Manuel Llorca is an Assistant Professor at Copenhagen School of Energy Infrastructure (Department of Economics, Copenhagen Business School). He was previously a Research Fellow at Durham University Business School and Early Career Fellow at Durham Energy Institute (Durham University). He holds a PhD and a master’s degree in Economics (Universities of the Basque Country, Cantabria, and Oviedo).

He is also a Research Associate at Oviedo Efficiency Group (University of Oviedo) and has been a Visiting Scholar at Energy Policy Research Group (University of Cambridge), Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation S.A. (Greece), Faculty of Economics at the University of Havana (Cuba), China Electric Power Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Tsinghua University (China).

His research interests include economic performance and regulation of energy networks, energy poverty, energy efficiency and rebound effects, energy sector reform, energy systems integration, energy issues in developing countries, and public acceptance of energy infrastructure projects.
