Semester dates
Autumn semester - September to December/January
The official start and end dates of our autumn semester are from 1 September until 31 January the following year, both dates included. But you are not expected to be present in Denmark for this exact period.
Spring semester - February to May/June
The official start and end dates of our spring semester are from 1 February until 30 June, both dates included. But you are not expected to be present in Denmark for this exact period.

Period of attendance - what to expect
You can plan your courses so that you can travel back earlier than the semester officially ends. In general, semester course exams often take place in December (autumn semester) or May (spring semester).
If you find out that your semester course exam is scheduled in January/June, you can still make course changes. Additionally, home assignments can be submitted from anywhere in the world so you can make sure to choose courses with that exam form if you want to leave early.

Course registration deadlines
We will inform you about how to apply for courses. You cannot access the course application link available on my.cbs.dk (the student intranet) until you have submitted the formal exchange application.
It is only possible to change courses during the add and drop period. You cannot change your courses when the add and drop period has ended.
We will notify you by email and on my.cbs.dk about the add and drop periods.
